SSB's annual conference committee is SSB's largest event, a spring biodesign conference with hundreds of attendees and faculty from Stanford and around the country. Past conference topics have included regenerative medicine, pediatric medical devices, medical robotics, and engineering for the developing world. Their attendees have included by students, faculty, and industry professionals. Last year's conference, SSB MedX, featured industry and academic speakers working on projects ranging from early cancer detection to enhanced prosthetic technologies, and featured a student poster session.
